Social Support Groups

Uralla Shire Council provides a number of Social Support Group programs across the New England area. Social Support Group programs provide centre based activities that bring together people from the local community to share a meal, friendship, discussions and outings. Dementia Respite group:

Uralla/Armidale – 10.30am – 1.30pm Every second Thursday. Please call TCS 6778 6350


Aboriginal Elders groups:

Tamworth -Each Monday & Friday, 10.15am–2.15pm. Please call KADS 5776 5000
Quirindi, Walhollow & Werris Creek – Every second Wednesday, 10.30am-2.00pm. Please call KADS 5776 5000
Uralla/Armidale – 10.00am – 2.00pm every Tuesday in Uralla. Please call TCS 6778 6350
