Tablelands Community Support (TCS) is able to offer older people, people living with a disability and their families a range of services to give you a hand to take care of yourself or your loved one while maintaining your independence by continuing to live at home. TCS staff can provide you with a range of different types of assistance in your home, such as Domestic Assistance, a hand getting meals ready, even minor Home Maintenance, or Social Support to help you get out and about with the help of a care worker to assist with shopping, banking, going to the chemist or attending medical appointments. Tablelands Community Transport (TCT) staff can also provide access to transport assistance that will help you in you in day to day life.

McMaugh Gardens Aged Care Centre is located in Uralla and provides supported living for people assessed as needing residential care. McMaugh Gardens provides person first care for both single and married persons in a homelike environment with country gardens.
What is the Aboriginal Elders Social Group
A time for the Aboriginal Elders from the Armidale and Uralla Community to come together and share in a meal, activity and outings. The group meets every Tuesday from 10.00am-2.30pm at Kent House in Armidale and also at the Uralla Community Centre. Activities include arts & crafts, jewellery making, baking, picnics, barbecues, attending community events and visiting local or out of town heritage sites. The elders participate in the elders Olympics every year and have the opportunity to travel and compete in sport and recreation.
